- NXT Rookie Alex Riley lost the FCW Heavyweight Title on Thursday night at the WWE developmental tapings. Riley defended the belt in a three-way against Johnny Curtis and Mason Ryan, who is the new Champion. Ryan is the former UK Gladiator star who resembles Batista.
- R-Truth and Dusty Rhodes will be appearing at the FCW live event on Friday, July 30th at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center in Punta Gorda, Florida and Rey Mysterio will appear at the FCW live event on Sunday, September 5th at the Osceola Heritage Park Expo Hall in Kissimmee, Florida. FCW is offering a VIP package that includes a seat in the first two rows, a photo op with Rey, a 5×7 print and up to two signed items.
