- Joey Mercury was revealed by Big Show to be the masked member of the Straight-Edge Society on SmackDown this past Friday. Mercury is a 3-time former WWE Tag Team Champion who re-signed with the company earlier this year. His profile has already been added to the SmackDown roster page.
- The Undertaker is currently expected to return to the main WWE storylines at the SummerSlam pay-per-view next month following the World Heavyweight Title match between Kane and Rey Mysterio. The plan would be for Taker to interrupt the winner of the match during their celebration to announce to who attacked him and put him in the vegetative state. The likely name behind the attack would be Kane because as of now, the plan is for Kane and Taker to compete for the Title at the Night of Champions PPV in September.
