- Jim Ross was asked on his Twitter account about TNA's planned ECW show, HardCORE Justice on August 8th, and if he thought it was ‘too similar’ to the One Night Stand show WWE put on in 2005. “TNA's ECW biz is perhaps a stretch and seems like it's been done before, obviously, but if it works good for them.”
- Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan will both be returning to TV after being off the air for a few weeks after missing the recent set of iMPACT tapings. Bischoff, who also works behind the scenes, took some time off to spend with family. Hogan on the other hand was recovering from recent back surgery.
- The ECW group in TNA are now apparently going by the name “Hardcore Originals.” There will be a major update on the group, as well as the HardCORE Justice show on this Thursday's iMPACT, which will be taped tomorrow night in Orlando, Florida.
- Jeff Hardy suffered a minor injury to his hand at TNA's house show on Friday in Bloomington, IL. Hardy had the injury take place during a Monster's Ball match with Abyss. He still worked the next night in LaPorte, IN and isn't expected to miss any time in the ring for TNA.
