New Angle Involving SES, Orton Update, MITB Plans Change, More

- The feeling is that WWE is losing interest in the whole RAW guest host concept. With a whole year of hosts gone by, it’s possible the angle will end soon or be cut down to one host a month.

- The final two spots for the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder match at the upcoming pay-per-view were scheduled to go to CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. However, those plans have drastically changed due to Punk being injured and McIntyre not able to work because of his work visa expiring. No word yet on who will get the last two spots.

- WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin wrote the following on Twitter about NXT Rookie Husky Harris: “my favorite new WWE talent is Husky Harris..needs a little more ring cardio..comes from great wrestling background. needs a mean streak.”

- Randy Orton saw limited action on this past Monday’s RAW in the eight-man main event because of the neck injury he suffered over the weekend. The seriousness of Orton’s injury isn’t known yet but with the recent shoulder injury, they are trying to be careful as the Money in the Bank ladder match approaches.

- WWE creative is looking at having one of the two Money in the Bank winners cash their title shot in before the SummerSlam pay-per-view. This might be done so the rest of the year can be planned with only one Superstar having a briefcase.

- WWE is beginning a new angle starting this Friday on SmackDown where Straight-Edge Society member Serena betrays the groups "pledge." There is a surveillance video shown on the big screen of Serena in a bar drinking over the Memorial Day weekend, where the rest of the SES came in and talked her down for betraying them. No word if this is a plan to get Seerena away from the group to compete, but we'll keep you updated on the latest information.
