Why JR Was Removed From WWE Opening, Eve Talks Jiu Jitsu, More

- WWE will be reporting their 2010 Second Quarter results on August 5th beginning at 11 AM eastern time.

- The reason as to why the voice of WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross was removed from the 20-second WWE opening that airs before both television and pay-per-view broadcasts because of a suggestion by WWE Producer Kevin Dunn. Dunn expressed that since Ross is no longer utilized as an announcer, they shouldn't feature him in the package. It's being said that it's not a major deal among some people in the company, seeing as they tweaked other stuff in the package too including removing clips of fellow Hall of Famers Gorilla Monsoon, "Superstar" Billy Graham and Bruno Sammartino. 

- Eve Torres is featured in an interview with SLAM Wrestling where she talks about how her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training has helped her wrestling career. "Being on the road, travelling four or five days a week, as a woman, it’s pretty important that I can defend myself. It’s something I’ve always been passionate about. I strongly believe it’s the only martial art women should learn because it’s based on leverage and technique. It’s so effective." She also puts over Fit Finlay who has been the unofficial girl-agent behind the scenes for years. "I don’t know where I’d be without him today. He’s helped me tremendously in my matches, in psychology and technique," she said.
