Major Details Regarding The New Creative Direction TNA Is Taking

Tommy Dreamer is now working alongside the TNA creative team, and is said to be doing a wonderful job. He will not be a replacement for Ed Ferrera according to TNA officials, however it's being said that Dreamer requested that the only way he'd end up in TNA is if he had some creative control, which TNA President Dixie Carter granted when the two met to discuss a deal months before Dreamer's debut at Slammiversary.

Dreamer's said to be the reason why we currently see the likes of Rob Terry, Orlando Jordan, and Rosie Lottalove on iMPACT right now, as he is not a fan of them. He's made it known he wants Daniels and Alissa Flash back in TNA, he isn't a fan of Ken Anderson being a face, wants the X-Divison to have a more international feel about it and revamp the Knockouts division. 

Dreamer also wants to cut and add certain wrestlers, and has even asked Hogan and Sting to take schedules similar to WWE's The Undertaker. He has setup another tryout match for Ken Doane, who he knows very well from their days in OVW and WWE. Dreamer has singled out AAA stars Aerostar, Jack Evans, Extreme Tiger, and the Apache Sisters that he wants to work upcoming TNA shows. Dreamer has also put in good words for Jimmy Yang (which the company has already signed), Carlito, Mike Knox, and several indy stars including those from NJPW.

Dreamer has convinced TNA to hold off on signing guys not ready, mainly students coming out of Team 3D's wrestling academy. The idea is to try and create new stars by elevating personal feuds. The feeling he has TNA needs to give fans a reason to cheer for talent or hate them. Creative plans on trying to make the Machine Guns, Amazing Red, Desmond Wolfe, Samoa Joe, Abyss and The Pope bigger stars in the eyes of viewers. He wants to make sure they become the standard bearers of TNA's new direction, so in the coming weeks look for a more edgy in your face show. Most the guys he booked in WWE developmental, and ECW are excited about his new role, because Dreamer is very well liked around the wrestling industry. He created antmosphere backstage where talent can make suggestions, unlike Vince Russo who hated talent bringing him different ideas. Dreamer is also taking suggestions from his good friends Bubba Ray (who also works for creative) and Raven.
