Former WWE diva and TNA Knockout Victoria/Tara was interviewed at FighterGirls.com during the time she attended the Bellator 23 MMA event. Below are some the highlights from the interview including her thoughts on her WWE departure, joining TNA, and much more.
Her departure from WWE: I was fired from the WWE schedule, and I wasn't happy with my role in the company. I appreciated the privilege of working with WWE, but I thought it was time to move on.
How she came in contact with TNA: TNA offered me the opportunity to wrestle to the best of my ability, and work a limited schedule. Plus, there were some amazing women that I wanted to work with. Kong in particular, I consider one of the best female wrestlers of all-time.
Her TNA Departure and rumors of it being her retirement: I never used the word 'retirement'. My TNA contract expired, but I do hope to wrestle Kong again someday.
