- The feeling backstage at the TNA iMPACT tapings in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday was that despite it becoming TNA’s version of the WWE One Night Stand pay-per-view featuring ECW stars, Paul Heyman will not be present at next month’s TNA Hard Justice PPV on August 8th.
- Tommy Dreamer has been busy the past few days contacting many former ECW stars to appear at TNA's Hard Justice PPV in August. It's not known exactly who he's exactly contacted as of now, but there are expected to be many surprises come August 8th.
- TNA President Dixie Carter was said to be very nervous about her segment with Dreamer at the TNA iMPACT taping on Tuesday. She sought out feedback from several people after the show. Vince Russo was said to be over the top with his praise for Carter's performance during the segment. There was also some snickering backstage over Dreamer's tearful promo with Carter, as it looked like Dreamer was trying too hard to cry.
