- Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon stated in her latest ad for her Senate campaign that WWE is nothing more than a "soap opera" and "not real." People all over the internet are buzzing big about McMahon's ad, with people shocked she's saying such bad things about WWE. She is saying a lot of negative things to further herself from the company to better her chances for the Senate victory.
- Abraham Washington is one name that is under consideration for the role as the mystery General Manager on RAW. He was originally slated for the role a couple of months ago before the company and Bret Hart worked out a new extension for Hart's contract. Officials feel he's been doing better on the mic since the end of ECW back in February when he was sent back to FCW where he, along with ECW alumni Bryon Saxton, have ben the announce team. - The main reason why the "Flair-style" chops are now banned in WWE is because it reminds fans of Ric Flair, and generally the whole building goes, "Wooo!" each time a chop is delivered. It's also interesting to note on RAW last week that Arn Anderson didn't mention Flair's name when talking about the five greatest wrestlers of all time. He was however scripted to call Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, and Triple H among five of the greatest ever.
- The latest update on WWE Hall of Famer Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat is that he is now stable, coherent and comfortable, but has a long way to go according to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter. He was hospitalized late Wednesday night in Tampa after suffering what was believed to be a brain aneurysm . He will remain in ICU as doctors conduct tests to determine a prognosis and treatment.
